Can I continue working in Upwork when I move abroad for a long period of time?

Hi Team,

I hope I can get help on what to do in the future. I'm working remotely here in the Philippines and I'm planning to move abroad  next year particularly in Finland for a long period of time.Can I still continue working for Upwork or what do I need to do? Thanks!

Yes, you can continue working on Upwork from anywhere. Just, when you move there, make sure to update your location.

Hi Sharlene,

 If you are going to be away for an extended period, such as moving to some place, then you should make updates to your account location. Also, it's recommended that you check with a legal adviser if you need a certain type of visa or a work permit to be able to work on Upwork while traveling.
