Can I get paid in my own currency?

Hello. I get my payments through Payoneer, in dollars, but I was wondering if I can get paid in my own currency, colombian pesos. Is it possible? What process should I follow or what requierements should I meet? Does UpWork charge additional fees for paying me in my own currency? If a client pays me $50 dollars, I wuould be receiving its equivalent in colombian pesos, according to the exchange rates valid for the day she paid me? Should I have a local account in a specific bank(I guess there are banks more problematic with the paperwork than others) to get my payments easily?

I know I have a lot questions, but I want to get this clear. I will appreciate your help.

¡Muchas gracias, amigos!

It will be converted in any case.

Your choice who will convert: payment system, your bank, etc.

For example i can open local bank account with local currency. Upwork will send USD there, bank convert it then put local currency to account.
