Can I give another access to my account?

Hi there, I'm wondering whether I can give someone else access to my Freelancer account since I'm going on a holiday and will not be able to make offers for jobs on Upwork. Is it then okay to go ahead and give my team (they don't live in the same country as me) access to my Freelancer account so I can still get jobs?

Then I'll need to do it myself while traveling. Can I use a VPN that says I'm in Denmark even though I'm traveling to Asia for the next two months without there being problems with Upwork? That way, I'll be able to use my computer as I normally do while traveling. Thanks.

You really should read Upwork's terms of service.  If you give a false location, you will have your account suspended.

I would like to clarify that using a VPN is not a violation of Upwork's TOS. However, be advised that if there are inconsistencies with your IP address, your account may be flagged to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

If you are traveling and are away from your country of residence temporarily, you don’t need to update your location. If it does raise any flags on our end, the team will reach out to you directly.  If however, you are going to be away for an extended period, such as moving some place, then you should make updates to your account location. To update your location once you move, simply go to Settings > Contact Info and update the Location section of the page.

Please make sure you have an appropriate visa type or permit to work in a country you are situated in and pay taxes accordingly.

Please also know that it is against Upwork TOS to share or "rent" an account. Sharing your account information is a serious violation of the Upwork Terms of Service.

Absolutely not,

What you could do is to create an agency, get your team members to create profiles which you can then add to the agency, and then give some of your team members agency-manager permissions so they can bid for contracts on your and the other agency members' behalf.
