Hi Gabor,

Yes, you can submit a new proposal after withdrawing the one you submitted earlier.

How can you do it? Thanks

Hi Pedro,

Are you asking about sending a new proposal to a job you've withdrawn your proposal from, Pedro? In that case, you should be able to go to the original job post and use Submit Proposal button. Thank you.

During the past few weeks, we have seen dozens of reports in the Forum: Freelancers saying that they withdrew a proposal and were not able to resubmit.

This has been described as a temporary technical glitch.

My recommendation is - for now, until we hear that this has been resolved - to NOT plan on being able to re-apply to a job if you withdraw your proposal.

Hi, I was invited for this job. I made couple of mistakes which made me withdraw the job, but I realised I can't re-submit my proposal

Hi Gamaliel,

If the job is posted as invite only you will not be able to resubmit the proposal. Only freelancers who are invited can apply for the job. Thank you.

no, for the last few months this option is closed. u cant resubmit
instantly u wait one or two days and then search the same job, you will
find the option of submit a proposal and then u resubmit it

I read this post and its reply, then I went and withdrew a proposal because I needed to correct something in the cover letter. A moment later I went to resubmit and got an error message stating I can not submit a proposal to the same project I've withdrawn from. This information from 2017 is clearly incorrect, or was at the time but no longer is. It's unfortunate, as I really wanted that project :_(

Hi Isabel,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I certainly understand that you really want to get the job. However, please note that boosted and unboosted proposals that are withdrawn are removed from the client’s list so they can no longer see them. If you withdraw a boosted proposal, you can’t submit it again (with or without boosting) and you will still be charged as if you had not withdrawn. You may check this help article for more information.

Hi Arjay,

Thank you for this information. Looks like it changed some time ago but the answer given in 2017 is pinned at the top. Going forward, is there a way to amend your cover letter after submitting a proposal? Hopefully I won't run into the issue again but it could happen to someone else... Thanks
