Can I share flickr portfolio link with proposal ?

Hi, We offer architectural 3D services in Upwork. Can I share flickr portfolio link with the proposal for the client to view my works , images etc though my flickr portfolio link doesn't have any personal info there. Or does there any other porfolio site link that allowed by upwork ?

Hi Sadi,

Yes, you can share your external portfolio with a client in a proposal. Please, make sure that all the payments are made on Upwork between you and the client you met on Upwork!

I can see two different statements regarding Behance or any other portfolio website links (posting in proposals).

according to the image above (Preston's reply) it is not allowed to submit portfolio links in proposals but Bojan, according to you it is allowed. Can you please assist me with which one is correct?

Hi Azaan,

This is an older thread and we do have changes in our TOS coming up in regards to sharing contact information. That said, yes, you can share links to your external portfolios. Freelancers will be allowed to include a link to their Behance portfolio in their profile Portfolio. Portfolios are an important part of a freelancer’s bidding process to show off their past work and their potential to complete a future project. That is why we are not prohibiting the sharing of external links to personal portfolios or other websites that provide examples of past work. We recognize that some of these links might include contact information and ways to identify and contact you outside of the Upwork platform. When you share these outside links, please remind potential clients to only communicate with you through Upwork until a contract is in place.
