Can I suggest an hourly contract to a fixed-rate client?

How can I suggest an hourly contract to a client I have a fixed-rate contract with?

I've worked on several fixed-rate projects for this client, and now we have a project that makes more sense as hourly. The client is happy for me to suggest this new contract as he's not so familiar with the platform.

My Jobs->My Jobs->Select the Contract->Next to Feedback back you have 3 dots -> Select Propose New Contract-> Scroll Down In terms section you have an option to toggle between Hourly and Fixed Fee Contracts.

If the current contract is already closed, once you navigate to the contract for that client you have an option on right side to propose new contract.

Hope that helps.:)

Oh wow. Thanks. I'd got as far as suggesting a new contract but only saw the fixed-rate option. That option "Switch to hourly" is waaay over on the other side of the screen. I didn't see it.

You can request that to client so s/he will do that for you.

She already said that the client wants her to suggest it and she was told how to do so hours ago...

Thanks Petra for pointing out that to me.
