Can I use my phone to work on a project?

Hi, can someone tell me if I use my phone to do research or work on a project, and then manually put in the time working on the app, will it show that I was inactive? I don't want the client to think I'm being dishonest. Also, can I only log time in 10-minute intervals? This is my first time using it and it only shows 10 minutes in the drop-down menu.

Hi Ayesha,

Manual time is often used for billing for work done offline or that might not be recorded properly by the app—phone calls, non-electronic research, paper-based sketching, large file transfers, graphics rendering, etc. If you're concerned about adding manual time I would suggest you discuss it with your client beforehand. Also, yes, time on Hourly Contracts is logged in 10-minute billing segments.

That said, please note that manual time does not qualify for Hourly Payment Protection.
