Can I use skype to discuss with client?

Now I am about to work with one client from United State.

What I should perform is to build static page and designer is working on it.

This page has many requirements and not finished completely. So I should discuss with designer so much and I asked this to the client.

By the way, he work with designer on skype and with me on Upwork.

So, I want to know if I can use skype to discuss with designer who doesn't work on Upwork.

Yes.

You can us Skype, or any other communication tool that you want to use, to communicate with a client.

Are you allowed to communicte with a designer who does NOT work through Upwork?

Yes.

Are you allowed to use Skype to do so?

Yes.

A key element to understanding this is that you have ALREADY BEEN HIRED by the client using an Upwork contract. So that means there are no limitations on how you may communicate with that client OR with anybody else on the team.
