Can I work for an agency as a regular contributor?

Good evening Community,

I recently took part in the Upwork Webinar regarding setting up your own agency. It was not of interest to be as I am an illustrator not a recuitment specialist.

My question is.... can you turn the table and contact agencies about working for them on a regular basis as an illustartor?  I have top rated status and a 99% job success score, soI would be a great addition tonany agency.

If this is possible, where do you find the agencies operating on Upwork?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Nick S

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your interest in agencies! The short answer to your question is that there isn't currently a way to search for and contact agencies that you might be interested in joining. It is an interesting idea though and we certainly appreciate your input.

If you are interested in growing your own business, you may want to take another look at creating your own agency. Running an agency isn't for everyone, but it can be a great way to take your business to the next level. You don't necessarily need to be a recruitment specialist to run a successful agency. For example, if you know other illustrators or designers outside of Upwork, you could bring them to the platform under the wing of your agency. The same is true if you know other individuals whose skills complement yours. For example, you could partner with web designers or developers and offer a one-stop website development solution.

I hope this information is helpful to you and thank you again for your input!
