Can a Freelancer work on more than one hourly job at once?

So , I currently am working on hourly basis for a client . I edit videos for them so I was wondering if I can take up more hourly jobs to increase my productivity . Like can I take up another fixed project or another hourly job while I am in an hourly contract with another client? So this way , I can first work for an hour for one client and then work for the second hour for another client.

Upwork places no limits on the number of contracts that you can have at one time.

You may not log time on more than one hourly contract simultanously.
