Can i use Desktop app for hour tracking on my brother's device? He also have upwork account

Hello everyone,

I got a project recently but my own device has some compatibility issues and is not viable for the project. Can i use my brother's laptop for working and timetracking while he is logged out of his upwork account? I just want to use time tracker on different laptop. Will that be okay and not against upwork TOS? Thanks.

Hi Syed,

You can use your brother's desktop as long as he is logged out and your account is logged in. However, should any of your activities raise a red flag, our team will reach out to you. Should you receive an email from our Trust and Safety team, just follow their instructions to verify your account to keep it safe.

However, i got another question for you: Is it safe to use two accounts on one machine alternatively? (Cuz this is what will be happenning in my case, right? )

It is allowed. But your account may be suspended for verification then. If your profile is legal then it is not a problem.

Be sure that you always logged out after sessin and never share your login with others.
