I always see milestone as "Funded" when client fund a milestone.
But this time it does not show "funded" anywhere on newly initiated contract, client says he has funded, how do I ensure?

Is it an Enterprise client by any chance?
Also, normal clients can not initiate any contract without funding the first milestone, so you should be OK as long as the amount of the milestone is as discussed.
It isn't possible to create a contract without funding the first milestone (unless Enterprise client)
