I am new here. I was just talking to a client yesterday. When I was about to reply again today, this message was shown, "Can't send messages in an archived room". What does this mean?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community with this question. I checked and see that the client took action which resulted in the message room's current status. I won't be able to provide specific details but can confirm the room has been archived due to client's action.

Are you saying the client violated Upwork's rules or something like that?
In my case, it's my freelancer who suddenly I can no longer message even though we'd had a good working relationship. It would be nice if Upwork and provide some details for this. In the 2 plus years I've been using Upwork to hire freelancers, I've never experienced this, so the vague "because of the client's actions" is kinda lame for a response.
