Can you accept work as a process server?

I recently accepted an offer to deliver a document to a receiver which is where I would act as a process server, as per the outlined contract. It's in the city I live in which I'm lucky enough not to have to know the law as all I need to do is drop them off. But has anyone ever done this job and accepted it? I live in Canada and as per my research, you're not required to get licensed, only courses or some knowledge on how it works if they want.

Please let me know and how was the job.

There should be no problem as long as it's legal for you to do the job and you're paid. It could be tricky if it's a fixed price job and you can't find the person you're serving it to. Sometimes people dodge process servers and it could take ages to corner them.
