Cancelling a contract with no earnings.

So a client opened a contract a month ago but she hasn't given me any tasks and isn't responding to my messages and I want to close the contract, would that affect my JSS?

If Yes, How do I avoid that?

Hi Jim - Closing a contract with no earnings won't affect your JSS, However, The client will be able to give you Private Feedback which can affect your JSS. If you have already tried to contact him and had no luck, I would suggest that you leave that contract open; maybe he will return back and assign you a task or something. Either way, The action of Closing a contract or leaving it open won't affect your JSS, however, your client's feedback will.

In the future, avoid accepting any job offer unless you know what is required from you and that you can get started right away if you want.
