Cannot buy connects - will quit Upwork

I have just started as a freelancer with Upwork and have had nothing but issues. I keep attempting to buy connects but the site will not process any credit card information I give it. Instead, the screen goes completely blank. There is no real help from this site for freelancers, which is also so unreal to me. Have you tried a different browser, and a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 together on Windows?)

As a last resort, clearing cookies and cache?

Hi, Quincy.

 

Upwork's system has its quirks from time to time, but I think you'll find that Customer Support will try to solve your problem. As far as I know, no one has ever reported this particular problem on this blog.

 

Upwork wouldn't have alllowed you to join its freelancer ranks if it didn't think clients would find value in your particular niche of services, so don't abandon hope just yet.

I'm having the same problem. And this is just one issue among several I've had using the upwork platform.
