Changing accounts over

Hi,

We want to change accounts owners and we were told to set up a new account, then go to the old account and login and add ourselves as 'admin' of that account then add the bank details.

Where we got stuck is we lost all the history - the messages section doesn't seem to have been transferred across.

Does anyone have any advice!?
