Changing the freelancer for the job

Hello,

The question is about hourly contracts. For example, there is an interview with a client and some member of an agency, the client is ready to send an offer to this member of an agency, but we would like to have the other member working on this project. Can a client send an offer for this job to some other member of an agency?
Is it possible to do so?  Does it correspond to Upwork rules?

Or to do so this other agency member needs to bid himself?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sure, as long as that agency member will be the one who will be doing the work and the client is happy, why not?

Hi Alex,

The client can send a direct offer to the freelancer, you will need to share the freelancer profile with them if they are not able to locate it. Thank you.

Hi Alex,

In the scenario you proposed, you'll need to communicate with the client and clarify that the agency contractor they are communicating with will not be the one working on the job and provide information about the agency contractor that you'd like to propose they hire for the job. If the client agrees, they can send a direct offer from the agency contractor's profile or invite them to discuss their cooperation further.

Note that this process can be streamlined if you assign a business manage role to one or more of your agency members, in which case they would be able to submit proposals for the other members of your team, among other permissions, removing the need to redirect a client to another agency member.

Yes, thank you Petra!
