How about a service like this
"Are you having trouble getting first job at upwork?
Are you getting trouble receiving 5 star feedbacks?
Well I can help you out just pay me these much dollars(outside of upwork) I will post a job for you with the title you want and leave a 5 star feedback "
Yesterday I spotted such service provider and reported his profile but no action has been taken and this black sheap has succefully helped in creating 150+ new profiles with 5 star feedbacks within couple of months
I just remember the effort I went through in order to get my first job and it is so painfull to watch how some people (both freelancer and their pimp clients) are successfully cheating this system.

I'm sorry to hear that, Khurram. I'd like to thank you for taking time to report this client to our team. Please know that the job post you sent is being reviewed, and while there hasn't been any update on your ticket, actions will be taken on the client's account and job post if proven to be violating the Upwork Terms of Service.
I checked your ticket and your report was escalated to the appropriate teams for their review and action. I will go ahead and follow this up again with the team to hopefully expedite the process.

Avery, that's good, but if the client created fake jobs with the intent of giving freelancers 5 star feedback in exchange for payment, then I hope Upwork will also take action against any freelancers who used the *service* provided by this client.

Dear Upwork, Safety Team, Security People? This is very serious. Are you doing anything about this? Has anybody checked the freelancers hired by this person? I know you are very busy and it's Sunday but if you look at the 150 freelancers who are hired by this client and then look at their job histories you'll find many other client accounts doing the same thing till the freelancer gets their JSS.
This is not an isolated incidence. This is organized. We are talking about hundreds, maybe thousands of people here. I'll send a private message to mods about this.

Hi Baris,
This issue has been escalated to the appropriate team for investigation. Actions will be taken on the client when proven to be violating Upwork ToS. We understand that this issue raises concerns and our team is working to remove these type of jobs and appropriate measures are taken to those who violate the ToS. Thank you so much for helping us in keeping Upwork safe. Feel free to send us a DM if you have something to report about. We'll be happy to assist and escalate it to appropriate teams.

This is new type of fraud therefore you have to look into it from diffrent perspective because from surface TOS has not been violated there are no hard evidence but they are easily to catch once you understand the basic trick involved
These guys are running covert youtube ads attracting thousends of people to register as capable and honest freelancers and not to mention they are earning huge chunk of money outside of upwork because of this fraud.
They create upwork profile for them then they offer them fake job and as Baris mentioned they continue to do so untill the user get a JSS and then some real client will get into their trap but no worries if he leaves bad feedback they will again use same serivce to dilute its effect
We now have three such profiles of clients same locality which I have submited as Ticket hope you guys won't take much time and ban all these clients and freelancers ASAP.

Hi Khurram,
Thank you for sharing the details with us, our team will investigate this further.

This is amazing. I agree with John that it would be easy to follow the chain and punish the freelancers who use such a service.
It will be like the operations local cops use. The pose as hookers and arrest the 'Johns'.
(Not you John K).

hello bojan,
I hire a freelacer to do an essay. deadline was very short and I sended all the intrctions with the whole amount and is now on escrow.
the freelance didnt a horrible job and didnt follow the intructions, when i send her a message about it this is what she answer
"I read the instructions and wrote the essay. I'm sure you could of just written it yourself instead of getting it plagiarized."
I really need help with this.
Thanks

Hi Dana,
I'm sorry about the problem with the work your freelancer delivered. You didn't release Escrow funds which give you the possibility to Review the work Freelancer delivered and Request Changes over it! Please follow up with your freelancer and try to resolve the issue directly. I'll also ask our team to follow up with you, review your complaint and advise you about the options you have.

Bojan,
Don't you suppose that the entire contract will be void since asking for and creating academic content is against the TOS?

Hello Dana,
Clearly you have not read Upwork's terms and conditions which states clearly that academic cheating is not allowed. I am sure the school or college you are at does not allow it either. If you are too lazy or too incompetent to write your own essays, then perhaps you should be looking at other schools to help you advance a little further in your studies.
Also, if you are under eighteen, you need to check in your own country if you are allowed to have this sort of account on Upwork.
ETA: I would like to add that many of us freelancers hate people like you who cheat in school/college work. If the person you hired did not deliver, then you should think of it as justice served.

Khurram, i feel so disappointed, that i didnt read your message earlier. We spotted freelanser top rated and cheated us with getting forced payment, blackmailing, not delivering us work and UPWORK support doent do nothing, and this freelancer keep on going to work here and i am sure he will do the same with other clients .... Is it any solution that you found?
