Client Hateful Speech

Hi everyone. I've been a freelance writer for the past 3 years and today I experienced something very disturbing and hateful. I applied for a job and after the interview, he said I'm going to hire you. For confirmation, I asked him about the budget, and told me its $10 per month. I refused and he started using Hate Speech like "Terrorists, Insects, Whole world is against us (I'm a Muslim and he is Hindu)." I asked him not to waste his time in giving hate and the last msg was "Get lost, Terrorist". 

It didn't happen to me before and the feeling I'm having now is just so draining. Now I can feel, how emotionally damaging it is to be hated even if you did nothing, how bad it is when you face Islamophobia. I can't even explain in words, how hurt I'm. Never in my life, have I hated someone due to their religion, race, gender, or color. But why I end up like this? I even posted the content on WordPress during the interview as he asked me to do so. 

I sincerely appeal, no matter if you're Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jew or belong to any other religion, don't give hate. It's disturbing, haunting and terrifying. I had enough today. Thanks for reading.  **Edited for Community Guidelines**

Fatima, I am really sorry that you had such a dreadful experience. Rahul's choice of word is NOT about you, it's his personality or mental problem. 

Please report the account to Upwork, they must ban this dangerous and disgusting person.

I don't know if you have done it already, but you can mark the conversation in the same chat. In the three dots that appear to the right of each message, "Report message" appears.
On the other hand, mods will delete the image you have attached. The customer's name cannot appear.

I agree with you about not giving hate. I'd rather burn my calories on more constructive issues. I wish you well in your business endeavors, and believe you are worth far more than $10.00 a month.
