Client asking for milestone amount change

Hi,

One of my clients ordered 10 articles and created a single milestone for all 10 articles. Unfortunately, the client only provided me with 4 articles topics that I submitted and provided revisions according to the terms discussed. Now the client is unsure when the next 6 topics will be available so thinking about paying the 4 article payment. 

At first, I requested an additional milestone for the 4 articles but the client wants to change the existing 10-article milestone to a 4-article milestone(Payment readjusted). Since I don't have the option to change the milestone amount is there any way to change the milestone amount already in the escrow?
