Client asking for my phone number

A client is asking for my phone number before we start working, She said they recruit most of their candidates and they communicate via WhatsApp!
I told her it’s against Upwork’s rule to share personal details!
Am I allowed to share my phone number with client on upwork?

Please let them know that sharing contact information before a contract has started is against Upwork’s Upwork's Terms of Service and that all communications prior to the contract starting must take place on Upwork.
