Client doesn't response for long time

I sent messages for a week to my client but he doesn't response yet.

So our contract is still live and I can see that his project is in progress on my Upwork profile.

I am not sure if he will be back to me or not.
Btw, if I end this contract on my side because of his delay, my Job Success Score will fall down?
Actually, I am upset with this problem.
If I catch new full time job on Upwork, my account will be dangerous because freelancers should work max 8 hours a day.
Is there any solution for this? What is the best option to close this contract without affect to my account?

No worries, Nazar. One ongoing project will not scare away a potential Client. No one is aware of what hours you are contributing to one project or another. 

As for the unresponsive Client - keep sending him reminders and ask to close. I wouldn't recommend closing it by yourself at this stage, and really - there is no need for this.
