Hi,
I had a contract around 2 weeks ago, the timeframe was 7-10 days to complete. Unfortunately, it took me around 13-14 days to complete the contract. I had already let the client know about the delay. When the project was up to be completed, the client ended the contract requesting the escrow fund. I convinced him to take the delivery after the completion, he agreed and really appreciated the work and now as the contract is already ended with the refund request, the client is unable to pay. I've received a request approval/refusal message from Upwork, but I didn't reply to it. After some knowhow, I got the info that I first have to reply to refund or dispute with the client for the fund.
As the project is successfully completed I don't want to initiate a Dispute against the client or if I agree to refund the amount to the client, it may hardly affect my JSS(not sure).
Don't know what to do. Please help me out.

Get the client to pay you via bonus, then approve the Escrow refund.
The effect on your JSS is already done, it happened when the client cancelled the contract and left feedback.
