Client ended the contract without payment

Dear Upwork Team,
I have worked with one client yesterday on Hindi translation project. The client created very low contract of $14.15 for the translation of 2500 words. I agreed and worked on the project for $14.15 and submitted my work on time. Today, the client told me that I did google translation and ended the contract without payment. He even provided the stars and a negative feedback on my profile.
I checked the google translation for the quality of work which everyone does. I requested him to change the feedback and stars and told him that I will also change the feedback and stars. I spent my time continuously working on this translation project but he ended the contract without the payment as well as provided me the negative feedback and stars.
This is the first time that I am facing this kind of issue.
I have received a notification with two options, either to approve to return the funded amount to the client or to provide a dispute.
What should I do? I need some help in this matter.
Please help me !!
Thanks

You did what? I ONLY touch Google translate when reading something in a language I do not understand. Translators certainly don't use Google Translate to "check the quality of the work" - That would be literally nuts.

Why did you?

Either accept the request or dispute... If you approve the request to return the $9.15 and refund the $5 the client paid you, the poor feedback will not show on your profile after the feedback has been processed.

In future, don't accept horribly cheap work and don't use google translate in any way. Professionals don't, and "translators" who do give those of us who are professional translators a bad name.

Hello Petra,
I will approve to return the amount of $14.15 to the client but the client has already provided me the feedback and stars. I worked for $14.15 in this second milestone.
If I approve to return the amount to the client, will the feedback be shown on my profile?

Thank you so much. I will keep your words in my mind as well as I will be careful enough to not to work with this kind of maniac.

Thanks once again !!

The client has paid $5 according to your profile. If you accept the request to return the escrow funds *AND* refund the $5 the feedback will vanish from your profile

No client should be sent any Google Translations. That is basically fraud.

It's the first thing any proofreader with any sense checks for.
