Hello!
I worked with one unresponsive client.
I did all tasks as client wanted and client left me a good feedback.
But client didn't pay for it...
My question is : why upwork removed client feedback from my profile?
I ask upwork to put my client feedback back. because I spent my one day to get a good client feedback.

Unless the freelancer logs hours using Upwork App with adequate memos and activity levels, they are not covered by Upwork Hourly Protection if the client fails to pay for the hours.

 

The team will provide more details about the contract to Akbar via the ticket.

How did the client “not pay?”

  • on hourly jobs the client gets charged automatically according to the hours you tracked using the Upwork tracker.
  • on fixed rate contracts there is a funded milestone.

if you didn’t get paid you did something wrong, and feedback from contracts where nothing was paid are not displayed on the profile.

I knew my mistake late, I worked hourly and  I spent 10 hrs to get the job done by.
But I didn't use timetracker because it was my first job and I didn't know how timetracker is important.
Client let me insert time manually.

Ok I have no question about my fee.
but what makes me angry is that, Upwork removed my client feedback. I want upwork to leave it back (client feedback).

I only see 1 job on your work history. It has good rating and shows you were paid $115.

Is this the job you are talking about?

If this isnt the job, then you did work without being awarded a contract.

this job that you mentioned above is my second job.

you can only have feedback on awarded jobs.

your history shows you've only ever had 1 job.

Are you sure you were actually awarded the contract for the other job?

that's really weird. You didnt accidently click to refund did you? Is the money showing up in your account?

Id message CS with that job number and find out what happened.

 No need to bother Support, he admitted he didn't track or log any time, so nothing paid = no feedback shows on profile.

 Oh ... I never saw it (Val was quicker) But he said he wasn't paid..... Very confused by the sounds of it... Or the payment didn't go through and hence reversed.... resulting in $ 0 paid.

 Hello? Outcomes of jobs with no payment are not displayed on any profile, ever. No feedback either. They didn't exist because nothing was earned. It makes you "angry"? What makes you angry? The fact that you didn't use the tracker or the fact that Upwork won't reprogram the site for you so your $ 0 job gets displayed?

Hi Akbar,

 

There has to be at least $1 paid on the contract in order for it to show in your Work History. Please, communicate with your client and ask them to pay you for the work you did via a bonus. Once they do that, the contract will show on your profile.
