Client has paid, but their account suspended

Hi Freelancers,


I have received a new milestone from my client, and he has already deposited the funds into escrow. Although he did not violate any of Upwork's Terms and Conditions, his account has been suspended for reasons unknown to me. I did not receive any notification regarding this suspension and have already completed the milestone. Have any of you experienced a similar situation, and if so, could you kindly provide suggestions on what steps I should take?

Have you tried to contact the upwork help and support system? They would tell you what to do, I guess.

Yes, Gulchehra.. But, they only have bot version. The bot answer did not answer my question too. That's my reason writing in the forum.

If your client's account has been suspended, Upwork may reach out to you to provide instructions on how to proceed with the contract. In the meantime, you can reach out to Upwork support for guidance and assistance in resolving the situation.
