I have completed the legal researh done for my client and he was happy. I conducted 2 Zoom calls with him (for free) and I only charged him for the written work that I have done. He ended the contract, gave me 5 stars review and left a good comment. Now he is asking extra questions every day and suddenly he is teling me that I failed to answer his questions??? WHY did he pay me and give me a good review then? Very weird. What should I do? Can it escalate? Can he change his review? I do not want to refund him. It's just $150 but I worked for this and I spent time researching for him.

Don't worry about it. The job is done, he paid you, and gave you a good review. There is nothing this client can do.

Still the client can file a chargeback with his bank / cc.
Though Upwork will suspend the client's account and trying to solve it on behalf of the freelancer, first they ask the freelancer to solve it with the customer.

He cannot change the review, and even if you give a full refund, the private feedback will remain.
If the private feedback is bad, that will be used in the JSS computation.
Upwork should address this problem swiftly and effetively.
I know how stressful it can be if the client has a never-ending series of follow-up questions that are clearly not in the scope of the project.
ETA: If you are referring to the job ended on September 2, 2024, rest easy.
As Upwork now updates the JSS on a daily basis, the effect of a bad private feedback would have shown by now.
As you still have a 100% JSS, the private feedback was not bad.
