Client is not paying the amount for the work

I have a very bad experience in upwork. one client had assigned a work to be done and i have compleated the work. but now he is not paying me the money. What shall i do? How can I get my payment?. Please help

 Are you hired? Is there a contract? Do you see a "submit work and request payment" button on the contract???

Do you see a contract?

If yes - click on it. If not, you are not hired.

If yes - Is that contract fixed price or hourly?
