Client not approving my work then asking for refund

Hey everyone,
I'm so confused please somebody guide me. I was working on logos for a client and I sent numerous designs and logos to him but he says he didn't like a single one of them.
He gave me some samples regarding how he "wanted" them to be but honestly he had no idea what he wanted.

All I texted him was that he should figure out what he wants so its easier for me to do my job and he replies saying I've stolen his ideas and is asking for a refund. I'm not sure what I should do?

Thanks

I know clients in design can be difficult, they don't always know what they want or how to explain it, dealing with them is truly an art in people skills. I guess what I would do is reassure him you could not have stolen his ideas since anything you have worked on for him through Upwork is his property as per Upwork's Terms of Use. Other than that I guess everything remains the same he needs to communicate better but in the end, you did deliver work so you should be paid.
