Client not releasing milestone after submitting work :(

Hey Freelancers, 

I have a client who set a milestone for $250, I submitted the work 8 days ago and he has not been active since. I'm waiting for him to release the payment but he has just not been on at all. What should I do?

I need the money to pay bills and It has just been sitting there. I have stopped working on the project until he reaches out to me, am I doing the right thing?

Hi Harry,

If you have submitted your work through the submit work button, the client has 14 days from the most recent submission on a milestone to review and approve or request changes. If your client doesn't respond to any milestone submission within 14 days, the deposit is automatically released to you. Thank you!
