Well, you declined the contract so simply approve the request for the return of the escrow funds. Why would you want to NOT return them if you are refusing to do the work?

"Return of escrow funds" means the money the client funded into escrow.   Simply approve it so the client gets that money back, you won't get it anyway because you don't want to do the contract.

In future, don't accept any contracts until you fully understand what they involve.

I started working with a client named alexander, We started a contract of $1000 with $500each milestone for his company website design and development projects

I delivered the design of the website and he approve the first milestone then activated the second milestone for the backend of the website, But the client asked for time to write his content to be put on the website. During this, we also started another project for hourly bases which I was unable to complete and unable to deliver on time, so he ended the contract. The problem is he ended both contracts without tell me, the first contract was delayed from his side as he requires some time for website content. Can you help in Client asked for Escrow refund request

There's nothing to help with. Clients may end any contract at any time for any reason or no reason.

If you are not out unpaid work on the second milestone of the first contract, then there's no loss except in your expectation. Approve the "refund" request if your approval is required. It's not coming out of your pocket. The client is taking their own money back to spend elsewhere. Wish the client well and move on.

Hang on, so the "client" wanted you to pay $10 to do some course as part of doing their job? Did their payment to you not account for them covering that $10?

If not that just screams scammer of some kind, even if you were being paid to do & review their course (which seems pretty scammy itself).

If I am right, I think CS needs to know about this. Let them sort out the money themselves.

🙂

He declined the job, didn't buy anything, didn't do any work, so he should return the escrow money and be done with it.
