Client response rate coming down day by day

Hello Upwork Community!

Something very important to share with you guys regarding current scenario, I am not sure if it is with me or if it's going with you guys also that Client's response rate is coming down since June, we might think our proposals are not that good/Global economy/Upwork update etc. If somebody strongly knows that there's an issue, guys then we really need to get together and find the exact reason to think upon and take action.

Yes, some processes happen.
Past year I had zero issues with payment.
This year, since start I have 5 payment issues already (some verbal agreemens don't work etc)
People try to "save" their money.
