I had to work to client this week, and everything was ok until now, that he is saying that he doesn't has the budget, and the contract will be cancelled... What should I do?

Gonçalo:
Clients may cancel a contract at any time, for any reason.
It does not make any difference if the client is cancelling the contract for budgetary reasons, or because he adopted a rescue shelter puppy and wants to care for it instead of continuing work on the project.
if a client no longer wants you to work on this project, then you do the same thing you would always do. Thank the client for his time and wish him well.
You will still get paid for the work that you have done, of course. But you won't do any more work on this project in the future.
