Client that I met outside od Upwork

I met a client outside of Upwork and we agreed to start a project. It looks like a good idea to do it via Upwork. The direct contract is not an option because the client is already registered.

If this 1st project will be done via Upwork does it mean that it will be breaking rules to have a project with this client in the future outside of Upwork?

No, not if you genuinly met the client outside of Upwork.
