Clients asking to message out side Upwork

Hi everyone, a client has messaged me and is asking to be massaged outside Upwork ( via telegram) I've added a screenshot. 

I'll not reply to the client until the matter is sorted. I've added a screenshot.

Please look into this matter

Idk, I guess it was a general notification, I asked Upwork's support staff but did not get any replies

The notification says it is a violation of Upwork's Terms of Service to communicate outside of Upwork before a contract is in place. I don't understand why you are asking if communicating on Telegram is ok. No it is not.

I did not ask that, my aim was only to let the platform know that I received such a message.

Don't try to ask Support staff about this.

Just to clarify, I'm not asking for support. I read somewhere, you need to let Upwork support know when you receive such messages. I just did that; if for some reason there's no need for that, my apologies for taking your time

This kind of stuff happens often. If you tell them you prefer to keep chatting in Upwork and they refuse then you know something isn't right.
