Close contract when hours are outstanding.

A silly newbie question I suppose, but I don't want any more confusion on this recent job where the client cancelled in error. He's opened a new hourly job. I've entered full hours as agreed manually, as the job is complete. The billing will not go through until next week but is there any problem if he closes the job now rather than wait for that to be processed and paid? He's going on vacation and we'd both like to have it closed.

There is no dispute between me and the client and also I am not concerned about not getting paid.

Thank you.

You guys are really great. I appreciate the speed and clarity of responses and persistence on some of the more complex situations I have asked for help on.
