Hi !
i had an old account which i had closed.
when i tried to update my current email with the old one it told me it's used?!!
so i tried to to sign in to the old one -which i closed- to check out it told me email is incorrect -doesn't exist-
so why it isn't released yet???

You need to close this new account and get Support to reopen your old one. What you did is not allowed and this is why you can't re-use your email address.

Upwork does not release email addresses and please note that users are not allowed to create multiple accounts on Upwork.

What we can do is close your new account and reopen your previous account which is linked to the email address you want to be using.
