Collecting connects without paying

Any suggestions to collect connects without paying for them?🤑
As a freelancer I won't pay to work anyway🤚

I work on Upwork 3 years ago with 100% Job success badge and plan to continue for long time. I can avoid paying to provide service, just asked for more steps may I didn't know yet.

If you won't pay for your expenses as a freelancer, you aren't a freelancer. You are responsible for your costs, no matter where or how you freelance. 

You are looking for an employer.

If you don't want to use connects, you won't get hired. There is no way to work that does not cost money. Real freelancers, who understand their business, and the industry, know you have to put something into getting jobs. No where do you get free access. Every freelancer is responsible for their business, including paying for it.

Clients are not impressed by this as a first line.

You have had 19 jobs, and the clients see it. All of the rest is meaningless, because it's just what you are saying. Clients don't take well to claims; they want to see reality. 

You can sit and wait, for connects to accumulate, and in a year you have enough to pay for perhaps 5 or 6 jobs, after you wait for a year. Or, you can freelance, and run your business like a professional.

Yes you can get free connects!!!

Don't apply.  Every month they give 10 connects.  So after 11 months you have 110 connects.  After 12 months  connects expire every month
