Commission on Payment

Hello 

I did a project of 500 dollars with 50 dollars tip. The total commession should be 110 dollars and I should get 440. But pending amount is 424 dollars ?

Can someone explain why ? and if there is VAT, How much is it ? and why are we paying it ?

20% on 500 = 100

10% on 50 =       5

VAT at 20% on the 105 service fee = 21

550 minus 126 = 424

You pay VAT on Serviceswhen you live in the UK. The service fee is how you pay for the services you get from Upwork.
