Hi, could someone point me in the direction of the most recent updates on communicating outside of the platform? What is allowed and what isn't? Thanks!
Communication outside Upwork before you have a contract in place with the client is not allowed. After you have started a contract you can communicate in whatever way you like.

In short is nothing allowed. Why you need it? Communicate with UW messages or integrated Zoom, it should be enough. Then open contract and use anything you want.
