Completed work, how do I safely submit it and get paid?

Yes, newbie, sorry. I couldn't find a form or help to cover my question.

My first job, I'm not sure what to do here.

I have an hour-by-hour contract with a 5 hr. max. I have completed the work and have 30min left but I was saving that for last min revisions if she wanted it. The work is completed on my end and I have sent her 2 snapshots of the project, she hasn't responded. However, I'm not sure what to do now? Let the clock run out? How to even submit it to her when she's given the final approval or even if she'll be back? Can someone offer some guidelines to protect myself and not give away free work? Is it a guarantee that I'll get paid?

Hi Moni,

Once hired, freelancers can submit work through Messages in the dedicated message room created for a specific contract. On an hourly contract, you log hours and the client is automatically billed for them. You may read more about Hourly Protection for Freelancers.

Thank you!
