Connects from upwork after removing jobs posted by scammer

A Few connections were wasted on scammer posts but my connect were not returned after upwork removed those posts, feeling like a derelict because my connects are exhausted. Have been seeing jobs I could start from the beginning and finish without not much ado but here i am spectating, I wish upwork credit my connects back. Anyone facing same challenge
