If you use the "Flag as inappropriate" link button to report a job posting, and then if Upwork removes that job posting for violating ToS, then the connects you used to apply to the job will be refunded AUTOMATICALLY.
Everybody who sent proposals to the job will receive their connects back.

Please do not tell me you'd take the time and trouble (and waste Support time in the process) to "plead your case" over a couple (or even 6) connects?
You have an hourly rate of $ 60, so even a single minute wasted over this is a net loss.

Abibidab, I think you are right. If the freelancer ALREADY withdrew his proposal, there is no way to get those connects refunded.

This is over.
There is no way to do what you are suggesting.

Hi Forrest and others,
To clarify, connects are refunded for active proposals if the job posting is cancelled by the client or Upwork without anybody being hired on that job. Connects aren't refunded if the proposal was withdrawn by the freelancer, even if later on the job is closed by the client or Upwork.
