I checked your account and saw that you've enabled your Availability Badge. You can check your Connects transaction here. It seems like you've already switched it off, so it won't continue to charge you Connects anymore.

I checked your account, and it doesn't look like you have Connects available yet. You use Connects to submit proposals to jobs you are interested in.

How can we get Jobs and don't need to spend Connects or any cost?
Clients don't feel horrible and stressful cause of volume of Proposals and don't match requirements.
And Upwork increase their revenue.... become better platform....

I submitted my proposal for a job and boosted it using 22 connects. However, I recently noticed that the job was closed and cancle without hiring anyone. Since the job is no longer available, I kindly request a refund of the connects used for this proposal.

I believe that freelancers should get their connects returned to and credited back to them if potential clients never take the time to even look at a freelancer's proposal for more than a week! Why is it fair to pay for and buy connects for proposals that are never looked at by these potential clients? I feel like I'm wasting my money!

Appreciate your response! I already knew the information you provided, thank you for that, but that still doesn't give my question a remotely satisfying answer. I'll state my opinion/question once more, why isn't fair for freelancers to receive their connects back to them if the client 1) Doesn't even look at the proposal 2) Takes longer than a week to decide who or if they're going to hire at all? It is my opinion that if a client is given a certain amount of time that they have to either hire someone or cancel the job altegother, it wouldn't hurt them in any way! Please don't misunderstand me, if the client hires someone else, if I don't get the job, I'm ok with that, connects are then gone, perfectly fine! But again, if none of those things happen, and the client doesn't even look at the proposal, takes weeks to decide, or here's another way of putting it, why do you think it's not appropriate for the freelancers to then have their connects returned to them, all of that being said? What's a good reason for that?

Please ensure you've opted in to receive marketing emails in your notification settings to ensure you get the marketing emails. I recently purchased connects to bid on multiple job posts, many of which are still active. However, yesterday I noticed that all the jobs I had bid on were marked as withdrawn in my profile and moved to the archive. As a result, the money I spent on these connects seems to have been wasted.
I believe this issue may have occurred when Upwork requested verification of my government ID, as I received an email asking to verify my identity around the same time.
I would like to request that the connects I paid for be reinstated to my account.
