Contact Name Change

I changed my contact name in hopes to protect my identity in MESSAGES, but I realize now that probably wasn't the correct thing to do. I have tried to change it back. I am still very concerned about my last name being displayed like that. Just two days ago someone messaged me, and later I learned from Upwork that they were banned from the system for being a scam.

Any advice on this?

And now I realize I posted this in the wrong place...and can't delete it?
