Hello Upwork Community,
I am Dawit Hailemariam and have been working here as a freelancer for over 9 years.
However, in the past 2 or 3 months, the number of fake jobs being posted is increasing exponentially. I tried to filter my saved searches to decrease them but it is not working. Currently, more than 95% of the jobs on "My Feed" are fake which is very frustrating. And almost all are by newly created and "Payment method unverified" client accounts.
Is there any way I can filter my job searches so that I can ONLY receive job feeds from clients whose payment methods are verified?
Kind regards,
Dawit Hailemariam

Yes it's in the options: https://www.upwork.com/nx/jobs/search/?sort=recency&payment_verified=1

Hi Dawit,
As noted, other members provided recommendations on how you could filter your search to eliminate clients that dont have a verified payment method, great; however, I'm curious to better understand how you determined there are "fake" job posts. More than 95% fake job posts, if accurate, should be concerning for all Freelancers - please explain your fake job post identification criteria.
