Hi Devinder,
I'm sorry to hear your contract was placed on hold. We recommend you stop working on the contract immediately as any work completed during this time is not covered by Upwork’s Payment Protection programs. The contract will remain on hold until your client resolves the issue with their account.
Thanks!

Hi Devinder,
Please know, we are not able to share any details of another user's account with you because of privacy reasons. If your client needs help to lift the hold on the contract, feel free to let him know he can reach out to us directly and we'll be happy to help.
I checked and it looks like you've logged the hours for the work you've done using manual time. Please note that manual time does not qualify for Hourly Protection.
Thanks!

What is it? Fixed or hourly? If fixed, there is no reason for you NOT to simply submit the work for payment if it's done. The hold has probably nothing to do with the funds for your project, those funds are already in escrow.
Did the contract go on hold on Fiday by any chance!?

It was hourly .
Ah. So have you been using the Upwork tracker to track your time, and had meaningful work memos and fair activity levels? Then you get paid for the hours you tracked automatically (in most cases, provided there is no fraud involved).

Yes . I just made manual entries
Then you are not covered if the client failed to pay. The system actually told you so in no uncertain terms while you entered the manual time.
