Contract SUSPENDED (Contract placed on hold)

Hello, how can I find out why this is the problem?

It is on the client side, yes. Either a problem with the client's payment method, or a verification issue.

It happens with one of my contracts once a month or more, but the client always fixes it quickly.

Just don't do any work while it is suspended

It is because something is wrong on the client-side. There is really nothing you can do and Upwork will not tell you why as it is private between Upwork and the client.

All you can do is wait, hopefully your client will fix whatever the problem is shortly.
