Hello upwork community,
I am working with a client on a software project. It was a fixed-price project. The client had added money in the escrow for given milestone. I could see the money in escrow and hence I started working on the project.
I had submitted my work on 30th December, 2018. And as you can find in the attachment, it shows that there was money in escrow when I submitted my work.

After submission of work, I got an email from upwork that the contract was kept on hold. I am attaching the email that I received as well(upwork email.pdf).
Yesterday the contract was ended by upwork. And I do not see any "View Request" button either as described in this article(https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211068528) to create a dispute. I have worked for over 2 weeks on this project, and $300 is not a small amount either. The client has not been responding to my messages either.
According to section 5.2 of https://www.upwork.com/legal#fp I should have 7 days to dispute the cancellation, and before 7 days the funds from escrow shouldn't be released either.
I'm sorry to hear about your contract. It looks like you have an open ticket with our team about this case. Please consider following up on your open ticket and kindly communicate with our team through that ticket if you have any questions, in order to keep all the information in one place. We will also follow up with the team about your case. Thank you!
